The
Fourth Annual Geekway to the West will be
bigger and better than ever. The Geekway to the West is a
small, friendly boardgaming convention held in St. Louis, Missouri.
Many of the attendees are members of the local St. Louis Boardgame Meetup group and active
members of BoardGameGeek,
the best online community devoted to the boardgame
hobby.
We are excited to
announce that this year’s Geekway will start a full day earlier. We will open Geekway
on Friday, June 6th, and continue the event through Sunday, June
8th to provide an entire extra day of gaming.
Another exciting change
is the expansion of the popular Play It and Win It promotion. Select games from the library will be
given away at the end of the convention.
The more you play, the more chances you have to go home with your
new favorites!
As in 2007, all 2008 registrations will be handled online
through this web site. Attendance
will again be capped to the first 125 paid registrants. Last year we nearly sold out, and this
year we expect to grow, so make sure to register early if you plan to
attend.
